Aluminis (like all canned drinks) have an internal coating sprayed on the inside of the bottle during manufacture to prevent any risk of contamination from liquid contacting metal. It's EU approved, food grade and BPA-free and plastic based.
The coating is microscopically thin (thinner than a human hair) and burns off during recycling so doesn't affect recyclability. Our manufacturer warrants a 2-year shelf life.
Aluminis are 99% - but not 100% - plastic free. Not perfect but, given the need to reduce single use plastic use, a big improvement on using plastic PET bottles
